The 2019 Honda Grom no longer stands alone in the 125cc market and with competitors like the Kawasaki Z125, Honda Monkey, and Honda SuperCub out there, Honda is stepping it up. With 9.7 horsepower at 7000 RPM and 8 lb-ft of torque at 5500 RPM, you’ll find yourself hitting the rev limiter at the DukeOfDC tested 56mph top speed.

honda grom and honda monkey tubeless tire?
& i am watching ur videow from Bangladesh 🇧🇩.
i Don't think u know where it is 🤔😁
For 3,000$ new and it only goes a little over 50 that’s gonna be a no from me chief
$200 a month for insurance? what kind of insurance? I paid $680 full cover for the whole year
It's official! This is the Chihuahua of motorcycles. lol
Grom 125
Honestly that Grom rumble is pretty relaxing
Lexmoto tekken
Though I think this bike would never haul me very far because of my weight (usually over 200lbs) I really like that there is now a bike that person can buy brand new and get into riding while only spending about $3600
So… something about 90 KM/H. Nice
Why people spend $3500 plus on this little kids toy bike when you can get a brand new lifan enduro 200cc fuel injected for $2500 out the door. SMH🤦🤦
I'm paying $4.25/a month insurance on my grom clone, everything about the grom is awsome
I love my CB 125F
I will not trade her for nothing in the world 🙂
Honda actually manufactures a lot of smaller cc bikes. There are Honda 110cc bikes, Dream, Dream Neo, CD110.
Also, there are other smaller bikes of Honda in 125cc segment, Activa(scooter), Shine.
These are very famous in Asian continent.
Nice vid gig to the point my fav way to get down.
I LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA IN PHILADELPHIA
4:56 Your top speed run was a joke! Probably because of the stupid aftermarket pipe that was put on this bike. It reminds me of the old 1982 450 Nighthawk that so many "aftermarket tuners" tried to improve, ONLY to find out that Honda had absolutely nailed it from the factory and there was nothing left to be gained by tuners. I did improve my 450 Nighthawk by switching the front sprocket to one with 2 less teeth. Initially it would redline at 9,200 rpm in 5th gear but then slow down when shifted into 6th because if fell off the power band. After the sprocket change, it topped out at 8,800 rpm in 6th gear which was almost perfect. Gas mileage actually improved a touch, top speed went up by 10 kilometers per hour and that bike was virtually impossible to stall in 1st gear & could wheelie in 2nd gear when weather conditions were correct. The only downside was that rpms in 6th gear increased from 4,400 to 5,000 at 60 mph, BUT that was still 1,000 rpms less than the previous generation Honda 400 which only had a 5 speed transmission. But I digress.
The guy in the video clip below has had 4 Honda Groms and they all topped out at 73 mph when they hit the Rev Limiter in top gear. Of course, the rider, in this case weighing over 200 pounds has to be totally tucked in to achieve this kind of top speed but it is doable.

Anyway, the Grom looks like a blast to ride! Speed isn't everything.
i really wish that seat was stock, so passengers would be a little more comfortable
Any tips?? https://youtu.be/HwiWi9uTNG0
Nice color. Best 125 is Kawi's KX125, lol.
I love all these little Hondas but I went for a red Monkey. I just love the retro styling of it and it’s so much fun to ride. It’s become my dependable little buddy.
In Indonesia we have Honda Supra X 125. 🙂
WOW, JUST WOW! Any tips on wheelies on these things?
“Motorcycle” 😆 it’s a scooter. 🛴
I think the Honda Grom and Yamaha Zuma are the 2 best small engine bikes in USA. Very reliable and highly customizable.
can you do 100 km with honda grom , is it safety ?
Dude I’m from Allentown. I came to this dealer to look at Groms I’m in the market and I wanna learn to ride a bike…
TNT 135 or grom? Grom is obviously reliable but is it worth the price difference? I haven’t heard enough on the 135 to go for one or the other
Not to mention the Daymak Em1 ….aka Electric grom 😉
I LOVE MY BOYFRIENDS PEBIS
You ain't picking up any chicks on a grom. And why would you pay 4 grand for that junk?
“I just pissed of a bunch of llamas…” I stayed for that line.
When’s it getting a 300 swap? Haha
People: why would you get a Grom? It's small and slow
DukeofDC: almost double the speed limit 5:20
Does it have an underseat space for papers?
If I didn’t live in Los Angeles I would of been had one of these
I was going to get Grom….. but I saw Benelli TnT 135 next to Grom at the dealer… I chose Benelli
I top out on my 2019 Grom (with a headwind) at 65 with a Zoom Exhaust. My Grom is superior 🤣
CB300R please
I need help guys, I’ve been wanting a bike for a while now but not sure if I should get a grom or a bigger bike.
It’s going to be my first bike, and I live in the city ( El Paso )
Which one should I get??
Awesome view
125cc is just not worth the price of the bike. i bought a Honda 400ex for half the price and it goes 70mph stock
I bought a cheap Chinese 50cc scooter for $800 and replaced the engine with a 150cc for about $200 . Doing wheelies on a moped is absolutely hilarious
with a few mods they can do about 70 but that also depends on your weight
Grom speeds are so inconsistent. Some people say the top speed is 65, some people say 55, I've even heard some say its 70
If I could find a local from gang I'd get one. Couple that with the fact I live out and to get to anything it's 55 mph roads somewhere in the route a grom just ain't practical for my first bike. So I'm going to get a crf450l and join the supermoto gang.
