fyi just run ps cs2 once as admin and press the "dont register" button. after that itll save this option
I removed that file as instructed, but upon re-starting my CS2 the un-relenting registration screen still appears in my Windows 7.

Easier way: run photoshop as administrator and click "do not register". Close and run as normal user: nag is gone.
